The problem with designing a new production dryer is that we can not calculate ahead of time precisely the speed with which a particular ceramic with a given shape is going to dry. The test chamber is used to get that information. Ceramic Services, Inc. has designed a test chamber that not only enables
you to get the information you need about your ware and your shape, but
also develops design information that can be directly used in the detail
design of a dryer.
Also available are the following extras: A 6" square observation window. An option to heat to 100 degrees C (200 degrees F) An oprtion to heat to 200 degrees C (380 degreesF) A digital scale internally mounted and wired to the controller for computer recording (externally mounted in higher temperature units) The chamber size is 24 inches wide x 24 inches deep by 24 inches high.
